Jesse from Yugioh GX

I know what you're all thinking- HTB likes Yugioh? Well, let me set you all straight. To be quite honest, I haven't watched Yugioh since the original series came on with Yugi when he had his cute little kiddie voice.

So, what exactly inspired HTB to suddenly, without any clear reason, draw fanart for Yugioh? Well, it all started when my 12 year old cousin sent a picture of a Yugioh character she had just drawn. I found out recently that she's quite the artist, and so we now have something in common. Anyways, after she sent that, she sent a picture of this blue haired guy who I'd never seen (ironically, before she even told me, I thought he looked like he could be from Yugioh, even though I haven't watched the show in years. I think it was the eyes). She asked if I could draw him (btw, we were texting, not mailing, to clear that up XD) and I said I might be able to.

So, two hours ago, we began an hour and 40 minute competition on who could draw this guy better, considering factors like how his face looked and that amount of hair on his head. Okay, not really a competition, but just an interesting discussion on drawing. And since I put so much work (and half my sky blue colored pencil) into drawing him, I figured I might as well put it up on here.

And, as is typical of my manga art, somehow the guy ended up facing the viewer, instead of the way he was supposed to be facing XD

Look him up though- I got his hair style almost dead on XD
